Northumberland sits where the West Branch joins the main stem, which puts a lot of open water and open sky against the north side of town. The housing runs older than most of the valley, so we spend as much time on flashing, fascia, and the details around a roof edge as we do on the field of the roof itself.

Two rivers means wind with moisture behind it. Siding fasteners and roof edges take the brunt of that, and we install for the exposure the house actually has rather than to a catalog spec.
