Who Are You Really Listening To?

Filtering Voices in a Noisy World

The Moment We're All Facing

Let's be honest, our world is loud. Between newsfeeds, podcasts, influencers, and nonstop opinions, it's hard to know who to trust.

But there's a hidden danger most folks don't see coming:

We're letting voices with no real experience shape our beliefs about health, money, even how we live.

And it's costing people more than they realize.

Core Insight: Popular Doesn't Mean Proven

We've confused charisma with credibility.

Celebrities talk like doctors. Influencers act like financial experts.

But success in one field doesn't transfer to another. Just because someone sounds smart doesn't mean they're qualified to guide your life.

Before you follow their advice, ask:

• Do they have real experience in this topic?

• Have they produced real results?

• Are they truly trying to help - or just trying to go viral?

Your future is too important to gamble on empty voices.

Strategy for the Week: Do a Voice Audit

This week, take 10 quiet minutes to look at who's shaping your thoughts.

Then ask:

Does this person have wisdom I can build on?

Have they lived what they're preaching?

Are they offering real help - or chasing clicks?

Start filtering your inputs like you'd filter your water, because what flows in… shapes everything.

Words to Live By

"Don't put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they?" Isaiah 2:22 (NLT)

"Not everyone with a platform deserves your attention." Unknown

"The first principle is that you must not fool yourself—and you are the easiest person to fool." Richard Feynman

"The advice you follow becomes the house you live in." Unknown

Grandpa's Nuggets

Grandpa says, "Son, just because someone's loud doesn't mean they're right. Find the folks who speak slow, think deep, and live what they say. That's who you learn from."

Closing Thought: What Are You Building Today?

At the end of the day, your home, your future, your peace of mind - they're too important to build on shaky voices.

Seek wisdom from those who've walked the walk. That's how legacies are built—not in the spotlight, but on solid ground.
