Siding
CedarMAX
ProVia's flagship insulated vinyl siding. It is Cedar Peaks quality with a contoured rigid-foam backing added, so it lies flat, quiets the house, and adds R-value while keeping an authentic cedar woodgrain.

ProVia · Premium tier
CedarMAX is the insulated version of Cedar Peaks: the same premium cedar-look vinyl with a rigid foam backing contoured to the panel, so the siding lies flat against the wall instead of flexing over it. The foam adds R-value and quiets the house, and the Super Polymer finish keeps the cedar woodgrain color from washing out in the sun. It comes in lap and board & batten profiles. If you are residing once and want it to be the last time, this is the top of the vinyl ladder.

Profiles & Styles
The shape of the boards changes the whole character of the house. These are the profiles we install across our ProVia and Mastic lines.

Traditional lap
The classic horizontal look. Double 5 inch clapboard, with other widths by line.

Dutch lap
A shadowed notch along each board for a more dimensional, hand-carved look.

Board & batten
Vertical boards with raised battens. A farmhouse look that suits Central PA homes.

Vinyl shakes
The texture of cedar shakes without the upkeep, for gables and accent walls.
Colors
ProVia's full vinyl siding palette, from bright whites to deep berry reds. The shades below match ProVia's own color chips, but screens vary and the range narrows on some lines, so ask us for physical samples before you decide.
Accessories
The pieces behind and around the siding that make a job watertight and finished. We spec these on every re-side.

House wrap underlayment
A weather-resistant barrier that goes on before the siding, to shed water and cut drafts behind the wall. We use Tyvek, or a low-E wrap when you want a little insulation value in the bargain.

Mounting blocks
A trimmed-out block that gives an outlet, a light, or any other fixture a flat surface to sit against, instead of cutting it into the siding. It frames the fixture cleanly and keeps water out where it meets the wall.

Gable vents
Lets the attic breathe out through the peak instead of cooking all summer. Round, octagon, or rectangle, so it can be a plain vent or a bit of detail on the gable.

Soffit
The panel that closes in the underside of the eave. Vented where the attic needs airflow, solid where it doesn't, and it is usually the piece that makes an old house look finished again.

Corner posts
Caps the corners of the house and hides the cut ends of every course running into them. Outside posts wrap the corners you see from the road, inside posts handle where two walls meet, like an L-shaped wing or the back of a porch. Either way the color match matters.

Window and door surround
A deeper trim that frames a window or door and gives the opening some weight. It is the difference between siding that stops at a window and siding that looks built around it.

Finish trim
The channels that catch a cut panel edge and give it somewhere to sit. J-channel runs wherever siding meets a window, a door, or the roofline, so water runs out of it instead of behind the wall. Undersill trim locks down that last course under a sill or a soffit, where the panel has been cut and has no lock left of its own. Skip it and the top row rattles in a wind.
